Important Note:
If you were informed your mail service has been transferred to a new server and your IPhone does not seem to be able to connect to your mail server, then you will need to Hard-Reset your IPHONE (Simultaneously push sleep/wake button and Home button for 10+ seconds until Apple logo appears – phone will reboot).
To setup the IPHONE on our mail service in IMAP mode:
Tap settings
Tap mail,contacts, calendar
tap add account
tap other
name = [Any name you want to give account]
email = [Your full email address]
password = [Your email password]
description = [optional]
tap save in the upper right corner
Tap IMAP
Host Name = mail.YOURWEBSITENAME.com
Tap “Accept” if you see the “Unable to Verify Certificate” message
Tap IMAP
Incoming Mail Server:
Host Name = mail.YOURWEBSITENAME.com
Username = [your full email address]
Email Password = [your email password]
Outgoing Mail Server:
Host Name = mail.YOURWEBSITENAME.com
Username = [your full email address]
Email Password = [your email password]
Tap SAVE
If you get a message similar to:
“Unable to move message to trash”
Tap Settings
Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Tap your account name
Tap Advanced
Tap each folder (draft, trash, sent, etc) and select the appropriate folder for it. Do this even if it is already selected. (You will see a checkmark next to it after it is selected)
